Spice Nepal Pvt Ltd , Mero Mobile introduce New Scheme to boost their sales of simcards. You will get a simcard with Rs15 balance when you buy a Rs100 recharge card. They call this scheme as "Ek haath deu arko Haath liu" meaning give and take.

SMS service started in United Telecom Limited Phones

United Telecom Limited has fasciliated its user with sms service, now UTL users can send sms to other mobile networks of Nepal as well as to other mobile networks worldwide.

SMS Tariff

UTL to UTL SMS: Rs 50 paisa per SMS
UTL to NTC/Mero Mobile: Re 1 per SMS
International SMS: Rs 5 per SMS

For prepaid customer all charges will be deducted immediately, and for postpaid subscriber all type of charges will be implemented in the monthly bill.

Mero Mobile Spice Nepal has reduced its facility of Free talk time

Mero Mobile, Spice Nepal has reduced its facility of one hour free talk time. They have implemented a condition for the customer to get that free talk time. To get free talk time customer most have to use atleast Rs.50 in a week,only then they would be provided by 1Hour free talk time. They are trying to force customer to change their Normal Tariff plan to Ramro Tariff as they say you have to pay only Rs.1.99 per minute and Rs.0.99 for one ramro number.
